IPROREALTY opened its doors in Dec 2009. At the end of the year, it had offices in Mississauga, Orangeville, Shelburne and Erin with 100 agents. By the end of 2010, there will be an office in Brampton as well with the agent count at about 200.
It is a state of the art company taking full advantage of to-day’s technology. It is also small enough to have management in tune with what the public and their agents need, in order to fulfill their real estate needs.
Bob and Gerri were the top producers in the local “big name” company. When we looked at the benefits of Iprorealty, the decision to change companies was quite easy.
About Bob
Bob was first licensed to sell real estate in 1984 and became a broker in 1990. His area of expertise is the highway 10 corridor from Brampton to Dundalk, with most activity being in Orangeville and Shelburne. Recently he also became a mortgage broker, thus being able to offer a more complete package to his buyers.
His interests include cycling (in 2006, he cycled across Canada), travelling (in his 20’s he travelled around the world including working in Australia for 2 years) and many places since, hiking and skiing, community organizations (including Lions and friends of Bill W.) He visits Cuba regularly and takes bikes down to his sponsored village (by the way, if you have a functioning bike that you no longer use, let him know). If you happen to be driving the hills of Mulmur and you see a tandem bicycle, chances are it is Bob on the front end.
After running offices as broker-owner from 1990 to 1999, he went back to doing what he does best, working with buyers and sellers. He likes the challenge of negotiating the best packages for his clients. He likes meeting people, finding out what their needs are and then working hard to make their wishes come true.
About Gerri
Gerri was involved indirectly in real estate from the time that she and Bob met in 1986. In 1990, she was office manager when they opened their own office. Later about 1995, she got her real estate license. In 2003, she was selling new homes and had 63 sales in a 12 month period. Now she works primarily with buyers, doing showings etc. She is very enthusiastic about this part of the realty business.
Gerri’s main outside interests are travelling, hiking and camping with 2 of Bob’s grand children. Despite the fact that the kids live in Ottawa, Gerri spent 7 weeks with them during the past year. Their trips included 2 weeks at Disneyland and 10 days camping at Killarney Provincial Park near Sudbury. Gerri has always been very interested in children. She came to Canada from Scotland as a nanny and is still in touch with most of the kids (now adults) that she worked with in the past.
